Abstract
It will often be observed with an ordinary substance that even if the effect of the unit operation is little, larger effect is produced at the same multiple operations. In this report, the authors examine whether such an additive result is detected on Qi related phenomena.
The external Qi generated by a Qigong practitioner was repeatedly radiated to distilled water. The distilled water was used as a sensing medium to detect the action of Qi through the measurement of the specific characteristic.
The analysis of the experimental data revealed that the additivity of Qi phenomena scarcely exists. The property of Qi is probably different from those of ordinary substances and the Qi phenomena are similar in the lack of the additivity to psi phenomena.
The comparison of data between artificial Qi accumulated in zero magnetic field and the external Qi regulated by a Qigong practitioner made it clear that the two kinds of Qi effect have approximately the same specific characteristic. According to the authorsユ discussion, the former Qi is a product from the "zero magnetic field" and the latter, a product from "zero consciousness (transformed consciousness)" of the Qigong practitioner. Thus two kinds of the Qi are in common regulated through zero (nothingness).
