Abstract
This Paper describes the concept of space strain propulsion system (SSPS). SSPS is the Propulsion system utilizing the action through medium of the field of space. The Principle is based on the new theory regarding the mechanical structure of space. The space strain is defined as a localized geometrical structural change of space and it implies a change from flat spac contained zero curvature components to curved Riemann space contained non-zero curvature components.
The change of curvature components of space, i.e., a curved space generates the body force as a space strain force.
By the way, the change of curvature comPonents of space is Produced by not only material energy tensor but also electromagnetic energy tensor, i.e., magnetic field. As a result, the magnetic field generates the body force as a space strain force and the body force from the curved space , i.e., SPACE DRIVE is utilized as a thrust.
The most important Point, however, is that the thrust of SSPS is not electromagnetic force such as Lorentz force but the thrust due to action of space itself, and it is the mechanism of SSPS that the electrolagnetic energy is necessary to change the curvature of space.
Thus, utilizing a space drive as an action through medium of the field of space is Propulsive principle of SSPS. The maximum feature of SSPS is to utilize the body force, therefore there is no action of inertial force and the only propulsion system to realize a velocity close to the velocity of light. Furthermore, the space vehicles using SSPS can navigate in both the atmosphere of planet and the universe.
